Watch: Medal of Honor recipient gives Susan Rice shameful nickname she won’t soon forget

Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer has a nickname for former National Security Adviser Susan Rice.

Rice, who served as a key member of the Obama administration, is the “liar in chief,” according to Meyer, who gave Rice the moniker during an appearance on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends” over the weekend.

“Could someone tell me how @AmbassadorRice still has enough credibility to comment on anything more than the Kardashians after Benghazi,” Meyer first tweeted last week.

The comments came after more than 80 people were murdered in Syria last week by the Bashar al-Assad regime, who dropped chemical weapons on the rebel-held city of Khan Sheikhun in Western Syria.

The attack came as a shock to the world not only because of the graphic videos and images that flooded airwaves, but because Rice and other top Obama administration officials — including former President Barack Obama — routinely boasted about a 2013 deal that allegedly got Assad to agree to turn over his chemical weapon stockpile to the international community so it could be destroyed.

TheBlaze reported Sunday on evidence that suggested the Obama administration knew their deal was a farce and Assad still had chemical weapons and that the administration lied about it anyway. Tony Blinken, former deputy secretary of state and deputy national security adviser under Obama, told the New York Times over the weekend that the administration “always knew” Syria still had chemical weapons.

Still, Rice said as recently as January that Obama’s deal was “able to get the Syrian government to voluntarily and verifiably give up its chemical weapons stockpile.”

Of course, this is verifiably incorrect, given Assad’s chemical weapons attack last week. The Washington Post even gave Rice “four pinocchios” for the claim.

But Meyer suggested that Rice’s recent lie is evidence of a more systematic problem — that Rice enjoys playing fast and loose with the truth. After all, following the 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi that resulted in the deaths of four Americans, Rice went on all the major Sunday talk shows to blame the attack on an anti-Islamic YouTube video, despite the Obama administration’s knowledge that it was a coordinated attack.

“You have to look, [Rice] was the last administration’s appointed liar in chief,” Meyer said. “She came out, she lied about Benghazi, and a year ago, she said on MSNBC all the chemical weapons were removed from Syria.”

“Did she know then, just like she knew she lied about Benghazi, that they weren’t removed?” he questioned. “I mean, it’s insane.”

Meyer went on to say that he hopes Rice and other top Obama administration officials are called to testify before Congress because it’s “time to hold them accountable.”

When asked if he believes Rice was misinformed or she intentionally lied to the American people, Meyer said Rice’s track record points to the latter.

“It just shows you the whole [Obama] administration operated under a political prism. Every decision that was made was made off of political agendas and trying to make everybody happy,” Meyer said.

“At the end of the day, to see President Trump go and make that decision and not worry about the nay sayers, not worrying about winning in the court of public opinion and making a decision that was morally right … it makes you feel like ‘we’re back,’” he added.
